Our Mission
To be a model of excellence in innovative and participative teaching and research to optimize students’ abilities to reach their full potential in contributing for society’s well-being through quality teaching, learning & research. To prepare learner-centered educators with the knowledge, skills and dispositions through critical pedagogy, evidence- based practices, leadership, collaboration, innovation and scholarship.
Our Vision
The Department of Education was established in 2003. We currently offer a range of programmes at undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels including PhD, M.Phil, M.A Education, M.A Educational Planning and Management, B. Ed (Hons) Secondary, BS. Health and Physical Education, Diploma, and Advanced Diploma in Montessori and Early Childhood Education. Our alumni have been working successfully in all tiers of educational institutions, NGOs, international organizations, and Ministry of Education.
